This Chilean-style hot dog comes with a variety of complementary ingredients, including tomatoes, mayo, onions, pickles and sauerkraut. To get a delicious crunch, the bread is lightly toasted. Cazuela

Usually cazuela in Chilean cuisine is a dish in the form of soup or stew. This is a home-cooked meal that is nutritious, inexpensive and an everyday comfort food. Cazuela or stew is part of the Chilean national spirit. This typical Chilean dish is simple and has many variations.

Some are made from beef, lamb, pork or chicken (usually with bones and meat) and are boiled in water or stock with shallots, garlic, paprika, oregano. Once the meat is tender, seasonal vegetables are added including squash, corn on the cob, potatoes, onions and other vegetables.
